Got any questions left?

What does the Aperi MCP do?+

It connects your AI client to 16 public research tools powered by Aperi’s existing API. Discover products and native venues, read quotes, order books and candles, observe a public Hyperliquid account, and explore calendar, leaderboard and platform coverage.

Which AI clients can I connect?+

Claude, Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenClaw and Hermes can use the connection options above. Any compatible Streamable HTTP MCP client can connect to the same public URL. Client and workspace permissions may affect availability.

Do I need an API key or an Aperi account?+

The hosted public MCP needs no account, wallet connection or API key. Choose no authentication. Optional market API keys are for direct API integrations; configure those separately in your application’s secret settings.

Can my agent place trades or transfer funds?+

This public connection provides research reads. Private portfolios, watchlist changes, orders, leverage and funding use the authenticated app and its existing ownership and approval requirements. Financial availability is determined by the platform’s current capabilities.

How current and complete is the data?+

Results include source timestamps, venue information and coverage. Availability varies by dataset and venue. Your agent should preserve native units and decimal strings, report missing data as unavailable, and explain bounded or truncated history.

Where can I find the schemas and API reference?+

The server exposes its tools and their input schemas through MCP discovery, plus the aperi://api/operations resource. The API page includes the current REST reference, Markdown exports and OpenAPI specification.

What are the usage limits?+

The public server enforces 60 protocol requests per minute per ingress IP, with shared protocol and upstream budgets per Cloudflare location. The underlying API also applies limits. A rate-limit response includes a retry delay; the connector does not retry automatically.
